A new era begins as OG expands into Southeast Asia 

Today, OG Esports proudly unveils its new Dota 2 roster. This marks one of the most significant moments in the organization’s history: a full move into Southeast Asia with an all-Filipino lineup led by Malaysian coach Adam “343” Shah and Filipino manager Isaac “Lane” Alfon.

This is the first time we field a fully SEA team, and it represents a powerful new chapter for us as we continue forging our legacy of breaking boundaries and rewriting esports history.

Our new OG Dota 2 Roster is

OG’s expansion into Southeast Asia celebrates a region long regarded as one of Dota 2’s most passionate and talented communities. Furthermore, the all-Filipino squad brings together veterans with proven international experience, guided by leadership deeply rooted in SEA’s esports culture. 

“This move marks a new chapter in OG’s journey as a truly global esports organization,” said Xavier Oswald, OG Co-Owner and CEO. “From Europe to Southeast Asia, our story has always been about people, players, fans, and communities united by passion and resilience. Expanding into SEA isn’t just a geographic shift; it’s about embracing a region with incredible talent and energy that has shaped Dota 2 for years.”

These players have the hunger, the humility, and the fire to compete at the highest level. I’ve watched SEA Dota for years, it’s raw, emotional, and full of heart. That’s exactly what OG is about. I can’t wait to see what we can build together” 

The new lineup signals not only OG’s global ambition but also its respect for Southeast Asia’s distinct competitive identity, one defined by resilience, teamwork, and community spirit. Fans can expect our trademark storytelling, behind-the-scenes content, and regional activations celebrating SEA culture in the months ahead.
