OG Esports received a Direct Invite to PARI Universe
OG Esports has been invited to PARI Universe, a tournament organized by FISSURE and sponsored by PARI. This is a new top-tier Dota 2 tournament bringing together some of the strongest teams from around the world.
The tournament will feature 6 invited teams and 4 teams that will join after successfully participating in the Closed Qualifier. Besides us at OG Esports, the other five invited teams are BB Team, PVISION, Team Liquid, Team Spirit and 1WIN.
This is an online tournament happening from October 22nd to November 1st and teams will compete for a US$250,000 prize pool. The action begins with a Group stage, with two groups of 5 teams each. The teams will compete in a single round-robin group stage, with every series being a best of three match-up. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs, while the remaining teams are out of the tournament.
The Playoffs will take place from October 28th to November 1st in a double-elimination format. All playoff matches will be BO3s; except for the Grand Final, which is a best of five series.
We are looking forward to stepping onto the server and competing for the title! Stay tuned to our socials for the matchday reminders, full game coverage and BTS content.
And as always,
